ADVICE CENTRE

The first and most important thing to remember is that there are very few perfect bodies out there. Everyone has something that they are trying to deal with. These tips will help you find the best swimsuit for your specific needs and help you celebrate your own beautiful body with confidence this summer!

ONE PIECE

Some of the most beautiful, sexy women on the beach wear one-piece swimsuits. They don’t reveal it all, but just enough to show off their best assets and conceal the rest. If you have a slim waist or a great bust, but your tummy is not as you would like, the one piece is a great option.

The halter neck is a very good style for a bigger bust and the broader straps are very flattering. High legs make your legs look longer and your hips smaller. Bright colours and bold prints are very important in a full costume. If wearing a dark colour, throw in a bright, cheery, colourful sarong or kaftan to make you look the part.

BIKINIS

Pear shapes should focus on patterned tops with some detail and embroidery to draw attention away from the bottom. Keep the bottom darker and plain. Boyish shapes look best in beautiful bandeau tops, which accentuate the smaller bust, and can be enhanced with some light padding, ruffles or sequins, which help to add curves.

Big busts should wear an under wire top for maximum support or structured tops with wider straps or a halter neck, which is always good to show off a great cleavage. Tankinis are great for a little more coverage and covers up on the not so perfect tummy.

WHAT IS YOUR BODY TYPE?

RECTANGLE

Embrace your athletic build with swimwear that adds curves and definition. Look for pieces with ruffles, padding, or bold prints to create the illusion of a fuller figure. High-cut legs and plunging necklines can enhance your natural shape, giving you a flattering and feminine look.

PEAR

Balance your proportions and highlight your curves with swimwear styles that draw attention to your upper body, such as halter tops, bandeaus, or detailed tops. Darker bottoms with higher cuts can elongate your legs and create a more balanced silhouette.

APPLE

For apple-shaped bodies, look for swimwear that provides support and enhances your waistline. V-necklines, structured tops, ruched fabrics, tummy control panels, and high-waisted bottoms can help to draw attention upwards whilst highlighting your best features.

STRAWBERRY

Accentuate your broad shoulders and narrower hips with swimwear styles that have detailing around the hips, such as side ties or ruffles, to create the illusion of a fuller bottom half. Halter tops and V-necklines can soften your shoulder line and add a touch of elegance.

HOURGLASS

Show off your balanced curves with pieces that highlight your waist, such as belted styles or high-waisted bottoms. Underwire tops and supportive cups can enhance your bust, while classic cuts and timeless designs ensure a chic and sophisticated look.
